Whirlpool Italy, a leading manufacturer and distributor of domestic home appliances wants to create an app solution (web app and mobile app) that can provide a digital catalog of standalone and built-in products for Whirlpool, Indesit, and Hotpoint. Also, it should be competent to better manage internal team distribution, mainly the sales staff. They should be able to access freestanding and built-in products of mentioned three companies on their smartphones. They can explore products and technologies, compare products, save them and create catalogues and customize them in PDF format.
With this mobility solution, the key objective of Whirlpool Italy was to create a well-structured distributor management system. An app solution that leverages brands with the better management of their internal team distribution, especially the sales staff. And provide them the ease of accessing freestanding and built-in products of Whirlpool and associated brands through a digital catalog.
With the app creation that provides a personalised digital catalogue of free-standing and built-in products of Whirlpool and three other companies to its distributors. The major challenge was to deliver a full-fledged app meeting all the customer’s requirements within a tight deadline.
