Our client wanted to create an online platform that could facilitate the continuation of WFFA (World Freestyle Football Association) events during the COVID-19 outbreak. Organizing physical WFFA events at any location was not feasible due to stringent social distancing regulations in place worldwide. Performers were restricted to their homes, making it impossible for them to participate in traditional events. The only viable solution was to develop a web app that would enable the organization of WFFA battles and allow performers to participate from the comfort of their own homes.
Overall, the aim is to create an online platform that not only allows the continuation of WFFA events but also provides an opportunity for talented individuals across the globe to participate and share their skills virtually.
The primary challenge in creating the RedBull-sponsored WFFA web app was developing the battle tree for the organized events. The objective was to dynamically progress the winning contestants in the competition, allowing the competition to continue until a champion of champions was determined.
